Amy Dowden fans all say same thing as Strictly star parties with pals after cancer ordeal
Strictly Come Dancing professional Amy Dowden is currently celebrating her friend's hen do abroad with her rarely-seen twin sister, Becky.
Amy Dowden has caused a stir on social media after posting updates from her latest trip abroad. The Strictly Come Dancing star has shared various snapshots with her fans whilst on holiday with her twin sister, Becky Dowden.
Earlier this week, 33-year-old Amy jetted off to Portugal to celebrate the hen do of her close friend. The professional dancer has been joined on the trip by her rarely-seen sibling and has attended the luxurious Well Vale do Lobo beach club.
Ahead of the weekend, she took to Instagram and posted two images of herself posing on a balcony. In the snaps, the Welsh star wore a green co-ord that featured a halterneck cropped top and high-waisted, wide-legged trousers.
She sported a chic cropped pixie haircut and accessorised the sophisticated look with a Louis Vuitton clutch bag and a pair of flat shoes. The upload, which was shared with her 658,000 Instagram followers, was accompanied by the caption: “Rrrrrrrrrrready for the bank holiday weekend but most importantly @katiejanewallis hen!”
Fans have since come out in their droves to compliment the dancer on her hairstyle, with one writing: “Absolutely stunning!! Short hair and that colour! Wow! Just wow Amy!”
A second commented: “Amy, you look stunning! That green outfit and your hair is just EVERYTHING!! If I were you I would keep it like this, suits you so much!”
“You brave soul, your strength has paid off......stunning,” typed another.
A fourth Instagram user said: “Love your hair, looks amazing.”
Amy’s friend and fellow Strictly Come Dancing professional Vito Coppola has also taken to the post, writing: “Beautiful Amyyy.”
Amy’s recent trip to the Algarve comes just months after she revealed there was “no evidence” of cancer in her body.

Since being diagnosed with aggressive stage three breast cancer last May, Amy has undergone multiple rounds of chemotherapy and has had a mastectomy.
In February, she appeared on an episode of Lorraine and confirmed that she is not yet cancer-free.
Speaking on the ITV talkshow, she said: “I’ll need to go back to the chemo ward once a month for an injection. It’s a brutal injection,” she explained.
"I've got a hormone-fed cancer, so if that keeps my hormones at bay and stops feeding it, then it’s worthwhile.
“Along the way, I’ve made pink sister friends that aren’t going to get that news, so I do really appreciate it and I’m going to grab life.”
