Rylan Clark shares the one thing that’s holding him back from marrying Rob Rinder

Rylan Clark has revealed he could not marry Rob Rinder despite the duo being close pals, as he could not have his children.

BBC duo Rylan Clark and Rob Rinder have become close friends after wowing viewers since starring on their popular show, with Rylan, 35, confessing that he once considered marrying the infamous judge.

Prior to filming Rylan and Rob The Grand Tour, which sees the iconic pair set off on a package holiday to discover some of the world’s greatest art treasures, it has been said they were not friends.

After bosses approached them and signed them up for the programme, they grew significantly closer and often headed out on the town away from filming. During an interview with The Times, Rylan admitted that there was only one thing that stopped him from getting hitched to the ITV star.

He said he was not keen to walk up the aisle as he could not see them ever having a kid. Rylan confessed: “If it weren’t for the fact that I couldn’t think of anything worse than me and Rob reproducing, I would marry him.”

He then joked that they do act like a married couple. The presenter quipped: "We love each other. Like a married couple: we row all the time and don’t have sex.”

Rylan went on to discuss their brand-new series and joked: “If we don’t get a Bafta nomination, I’m going to claim homophobia.”

This comes after the star was forced to shut down rumours of a romance with Rob, 45.

Promoting the new show, Rob took to social media and shared a cryptic message in reply to Rylan on Instagram promoting the BBC Two programme.

Teasing fans, judge Rob replied in the comment section: "'Friendship may and often does, grow into love.' Byron."

However, This Morning star Rylan quickly shut down any suggestion of a romance on Monday as he revealed a journalist had attempted to ask his mum Linda about the rumours.

“The answer is no. I'm not dating Rob Rinder he's one of my closest friends. Next time tweet me. Thanks."

Rylan and Rob grew close while filming their show and have mix in the same circles, often popping out with pals Alison Hammond and Gyles Brandreth.
