stance on a return has emerged, with the winger having reportedly made a decision about his future. Sancho has caught the eye ever since returning to Borussia Dortmund, but his loan deal at the Bundesliga outfit is set to expire at the end of the season.

Paris Saint-Germain might’ve been beaten against Dortmund on Wednesday, but it was who came out of that game as the biggest loser. Sancho’s dazzling display for Dortmund earned him a deserved Man of the Match award, with the United loanee looking back to his best.

It was Ten Hag’s decision to let him leave the club, with the Dutch manager having fallen out with Sancho earlier this season. But, as his loan spell with Dortmund nears an end, questions about Sancho’s future have started to pop up.

According to Sky Sport Germany, Sancho has already ruled out a return to United, with the forward not interested in reconciling with the Red Devils’ hierarchy. That’s irrespective of whether Ten Hag is let go by the United board, as Sancho is reportedly adamant he won’t play for the Old Trafford outfit again.

The report does hint a return to the Westfalenstadion could be on the cards for Sancho next season, but it would have to be in the form of another loan move. That’s because any permanent sale is likely to cost too much for Dortmund, with United keen to recoup a chunk of the £73million fee they paid three years ago.

This was something that Ten Hag addressed in the aftermath of Sancho’s masterclass against PSG, with the ex-Ajax chief insisting Sancho’s value remains high. On the England international, he said: "So let's say this - yesterday he played very well and he's a very good player.

“Yesterday he showed why Manchester United bought him and he showed he represents a high value for Manchester United, which is good. I'm happy for Jadon, for the performance yesterday and we'll see what is going to happen in the future.”

Sky Germany claim United and Dortmund are set to meet for talks regarding Sancho’s future ahead of the summer transfer window. In the meantime, Sancho’s Dortmund take on Augsburg this weekend, before travelling to the French capital for the return leg against PSG on Tuesday.
