A woman had an inspirational quote tattooed on her back - but it's gone viral for the wrong reasons.

It appears the artist made a bit of a blunder as they made a huge spelling error. A snap of her back was shared, and the quote read: "Stay strong - no matter wath happens."

Someone posted the picture on Reddit, alongside the cheeky caption: "Wath in the wordl." People have been left in stiches at the error, even though it must have been problematic for the person.

After all, inks are with us for life, so we at least want them to be as perfect as possible. Unfortunately, this wasn't the case for this woeful woman.

Hundreds of people have been talking about the unfortunate mishap, as they couldn't understand how it happened. It's clear that many people just couldn't believe their eyes.

While someone dubbed it a really "weird error", others just couldn't get their heads around it. But, everyone has accidents, don't they?

One person said: "This has to be ironic." Another commented: "Hold on let me offer a different perspective. Read the message. Maybe this was intentional and a bit of humor? Those Ps are horrible tho lol."

A third replied: "I choose to believe that was intentional, if stupid." Meanwhile, a fourth chimed in with: "Error aside, I don't see why you would tattoo the most boring, generic phrase on your body.

"I can't even call that a "saying"; it's just a flat, vaguely positive statement."

Whatever you think of the mishap, it's not the first time tattoos have gone a little wrong. Over the years there've been all sorts of stories where people have been left disappointed by their inks.

For example, back in 2022, a woman was left distraught after accidentally getting the word "meow" tattooed on the outside of her lip instead of the inside. She shared the hilarious fail on TikTok, with the video raking in hundreds of thousands of views as shocked viewers asked how the Swedish woman didn't notice the tattoo artist tattooing the outside of her lip.

Wilma Hagglund had wanted the word tattooed on the inside of her lip which would only be visible once she pulled her lip down. But it appears the tattoo artist didn't get the memo as the word was branded on the outside of her lip, leaving it obvious to the world as she walks around with "meow" clearly visible.

Writing in Swedish, Wilma said via TikTok: "He tattooed on the wrong place in my f****** mouth" before showing the intended design of a woman with the word on the inside of her lip.

When it comes to inks, it turns out not everything goes smoothly, so it's always worth being extra cautious. After all, they stay with you for a long time!
